18 Jan Beyond IoT Conference 2021
Connected Health are very excited to be participating in the Beyond IoT virtual conference this January. This year the conference focuses on the digital revolution and brings together global thought leaders, SME’s, entrepreneurs, start-ups, industry and research experts and award-winning keynote speakers. Various strategic concepts and deep technology insights will be discussed at the event and Connected Health are delighted to be hosting a workshop and panel discussion alongside global industry leaders.
Connected Health Group believe ‘Technology Enabled Care’ is an integral part of the solution to the many challenges facing the health and social care sector across the globe. We bring together digital media and health technology to provide a real-time picture of service user health. This improves outcomes, promotes patient’s independence, minimises avoidable service use and focuses on prevention.
The topic of discussion for Connected Health at the virtual conference will be digital homecare, specifically airCeption, and how innovations in clinical care technology can enable clients and patients to remain at home and receive quality care. airCeption is an example of how innovation can deliver patient empowerment by utilising patented, non-invasive technology to monitor, detect and alert patients/clients and carers to any form of incontinence, without the need for pads or near skin sensors.
Connected Health’s Living Lab will also be discussed at the event. The Living Lab has been used as a forum for research and innovation applied to the development of new products, services and processes. It employs working methods to integrate people into the entire development process as users and co-creators and recognises the needs of users and the working conditions of service providers, both in their respective contexts.
