22 Mar Public Notice Update
It’s been a long week folks. The internal NHS (Hospitals, GPs, Paramedics etc) are likely to feel the brunt of this pandemic over the next week or two. Right now though, our Care Workers are in the thick of it this week, caring for the most vulnerable, calming fears, trying to get access to much needed infection control PPE (it’s been incredibly challenging) and keeping those most at risk fed, medicated, showered, changing stoma bags, helping people out of bed and dressed, delivering kindness in bucketloads – and all the usual stuff that they do night and day.
We need your help like never before:
- Stay at home. Our Carers are seeing first-hand how fast this virus is spreading. This is our family. Keep it safe.
- NHS staff are critical. Please also support our Carers when they are out and about – they need to eat, to park.. just give them a friendly wave or smile… it all makes a difference.
- If you are prepared to give is your time please volunteer or apply for a Carer role. Our recruitment teams are ready to talk to you today – training and interviewing is online – the surge is coming. Please, please, please drop us a note if you are fit and healthy with no underlying health conditions. Apply Here
Our Carers will have our new window stickers (see photo above) this week so you can identify their vehicles. Reward their bravery and dedication with a smile. Social distancing doesn’t mean we stop showing kindness to each other.
