14 Mar Public Notice
The next few weeks and months will present unprecedented challenges for older people in our communities. Our Connected Health family are on the front line of serving and supporting those most at risk of the Corona Virus. We must continue to serve, support and care for our older people who need assistance with showering, eating, medication prompts and all other tasks that make up homecare. As yet we are not being asked to care for older people who are self-isolating or have a positive diagnosis. However we must be absolutely clear with our service users, next of kin and communities that the staff of Connected Health are here to assist and deliver care to our communities.
That said we need your support. There is no doubt there will be a significant uplift on the requirement for care across all elements of the health and social care system. If you are fit and healthy with no underlying health conditions please consider committing a number of hours per week to care for people in your immediate community and neighbourhoods. We will provide full training on line , we will not ask you to care for clients in self isolation or with a positive diagnosis. Moving forward we are likely to require volunteers for those in self-isolation and again full infection control training and advanced PPE will be given.
As the leadership team within Connected Health we give our personal commitment and assurance that our company will commit all our resources and people to manage the Coronavirus and protect the most vulnerable in our community.
Again please drop us a message or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can spare anytime or support over the coming weeks and months.
