COMMUNITY CARE ASSISTANT

About the Job Role

The job role will be primarily care focused. Experience is not necessary but a commitment to be reliable, caring and dedicated to making a difference to people’s lives are the values we are looking for. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of personal care and practical support for clients in their own homes whilst observing safe working practices and ensuring the privacy, personal choice and dignity of the clients. We provide excellent training for our healthcare assistants which is provided in-house. We offer brilliant development opportunities, including obtaining qualifications in Health & Social Care as well as career progression within the Company.

 

About You

You may not have previous experience in domiciliary care but have a caring and compassionate attitude towards people in need of care and support. With the ability to give care and support to customers with aspects of their daily living in a manner that respects their dignity, you are non- judgmental and promote their independence, choices and privacy. You are motivated and keen to learn, willing to seek guidance when needed and follow instructions. You are an excellent time keeper, flexible and reliable. You have the ability to listen, communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with clients, their families and your colleagues. You are capable of keeping written records in clear English about the care and support given to each customer.
