Role Overview

Connected Health are recruiting for Rapid Response Care Assistants to join our bespoke Hospital to Home team across areas of Belfast. In this role you will be working with our service users who have recently been discharged from hospital and assisting with their rehabilitation and recovery.

The aim of our service is to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and ease pressure points during the year (such as winter pressures & bed blocking), enabling individuals to be cared for efficiently and in the comfort of their own home.

Salary:             Up to £11 per hour – depending on experience. 

Hours:             Full Time & Part Time Available

Location:         Larne

Reporting to:  Area Manager

Role Description

Supporting our clients with their personal hygiene (washing, dressing, toileting, etc.),

Preparing our clients meals,

Prompting our clients with their medication,

Supporting our clients with their daily routines,

Recording and reporting in our clients care plans / daily record sheets,

To participate in the on-call phone on working weekend as required and to cover this task in the absence of Area Manager.


Essential Criteria

 

  • A minimum 6-months care experience
  • Empathetic in nature
  • A cheerful, upbeat, and friendly personality
  • Driver with access to your own car
  • Ability to work full-time hours each week
  • Be fully flexible to work every other weekend
